Detailing the Causes of the Diagram
Now, let’s begin to identify some of the root causes:
People and Information
- the core of the group who regularly attend (as things shift, attendees may shift) – these people are responsible for their input and information gathering
- key people who are invited because of information and knowledge that would add value to the meeting
2. Room or Venue
- environment not conducive to focusing on task - too much openness to the outside, or “fishbowl” room can be distracting
- centrally located for participants, or location rotated - are directions needed - room is appropriate size
3. Resources and Tools
- what equipment does the committee need to do it’s job
- what equipment/tools does each member need
- what support material might be needed
